It would have looked better if it cut off at or slightly below the knee, cocktail style. All that extra material just looks wrong.

her face looks absolutely ridiculous. and the dress, at the very least covers up her log-like legs.

It looks ok on her, but it really is a bit too long for my like as well. And the shoes she's wearing...!!???? Not sure I like those with the dress.
