‘Knocked Up’ star Katherine Heigl has partnered with a healthcare-clothing company to launch the Katherine Heigl Collection-a line of fashionable scrubs for healthcare professionals.
The actress who plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on the Golden Globe winning series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ says of her new project:
“I have tremendous respect for women in the healthcare industry and I know that it is often a difficult and thankless job. I wanted to create a line of scrubs that would allow women to infuse some of their personality and style into their work apparel. When you feel good about how you look, you are more confident, more motivated and it can lift your spirits.”

^ A lot of my family is in medical fields, and my mom/sisters have mentioned they don't like their scrubs (they're kind of boxy/unflattering) so I should check out thjis line for them.

Most docotrs and nurses don't get to choose their desired scubs, right? I know most in Toronto have to wear the hospitals scrubs with the hospital initials on them...so security know that the people walking around saving lives are actually qualified to do so. Unless your a RPN or a PSW....they can wear whatever scubs they want...like the hideous pink ones with cats and shit all over them. LOL

While I like the concept of this, why would SHE think SHE can launch her own SCRUBS line??? She's on a fucking TV SHOW for christs sake, so suddenly she is an expert on scrubs????

^ lol, I totally agree!!! But I did read an earlier report of this and apparently it's more like the scrubs company hired her to endorse their designs.
