I seriously never found Lana Turner to be all that. Pretty, sure, but boring as hell. Reminds me of the starlets nowadays we call "gorgeous." No fire, no sex appeal, nothing unique. Boring boring boring.

Surprising how many of them played with projecting a kind of masculinity in their sex appeal at times.

That picture of Audrey Hepburn highlights how drastically thin she was. It reminds me, I thought I read somewhere that she suffered from malnutrition as a child. Makes sense, though she was a beautiful adult.
