So I bought a pair! (i know... ) But I was a DSW looking for a pair of black heels for a wedding coming up and these were the most direct, simple pair in the whole store. No bells and whistles, no straps, no bows, just black heels with a little toe peek. Very 1940s inspired.
These are they:
So I'm shocked at how cute they are because never in a million years would I have voluntarily bought shoes from Jessica Simpson. But I really like them, I'm pleasantly surprised. Anyone else picked up some JS shoes? Do you like?

Anyway, how much did you pay for them??

At DSW I paid $59.95, I was looking at a similar pair by Guess for $69.95 but they were slingbacks.
Target probably has the better bargain but I wasn't near one at the time.

I bought these shoes at Target last fall. Actually, I liked them so much I bought them in black and brown.
I do like your shoes a lot, Dean James, though I'd hate to give any money to the Simpson money machine.

ooo! those are cute too!
Yeah... I had some qualms about that like Joe needs more money. But my logic was- even if I didn't know the maker, I'd still buy them so I did.

DSW is expensive. I always thought it was supposed to be majorly discounted shoes.
D - Damn
S - 'spensive
W - Warehouse

Ah, I figured they would've been most expensive!

I should add that living in nyc, that price is most kind to the wallet. 60 dollar shoes are bit of a bargain. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go drink my $5 coffee and eat my $2 banana.
*sigh*

They are for the most part, but I try not to wear them when I'll be on my feet all day.

Cute shoes DJ, I tried on a pair that style, didn't think much of them till I had them on my feet, but then fell in love with them. Didn't have my size though. I'll be watching for them. My daughter bought a pair like them in patent leather.

Ooh they're nice! I got a pair just like that only they're slingbacks, and I love them. They don't look quite as nice on me as other folks though because i have really high insteps.

i like the shoes, and i think that was a bargain. they're cute!
Simpson's line seems to have alot of different colors and types of shoes..which i like.
i have never bought her shoes though, but i wouldn't be surprised if i do. i really like the variety.

I bought a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes from Nordstrom. They were 70% off and only like 21 dollars. but im 5'7'' and since i bought them online, i didnt realize the heel was 4 inches. my mother pointed out that Jessica has short, crooked, and stumpy legs so she has to make the heels high LOL. i like them. they were like yours Dean James, peep toe, but slingbacks and a dark green suede. so i had to return them. but her shoes are decent and lightweight, just very high heel.
