Default Cher's gowns
Cher made a bundle for her charities and for herself with her auction earlier this month. She sold gowns, furniture, art, jewelry etc.

If you're a fan, here's some of the gowns that were auctioned. I've seen some of her gowns on display and each one is a work of art because of the beading. I did a no-no and peaked under one of the gowns because I couldn't figure out how she could be wearing any underwear. Bob had mesh fabric to match her skin color sewed into the dress with a panty liner. The dress could have a slit all the way up but on TV you'd never see the mesh lining.

















My favorite dress of hers. It sold for 20,000. The others sold for 4 to 5 thousand.

Looking at those gowns instantly take me back to 1975 (or so) and I was 5 watching the Sonny and Cher show.....loved it. Still love 'I Got You Babe'.

Can't see most of the pics, but she has the perfect frame for gowns. Cher is def an unattractive beauty.

Cher's like the original drag queen. Who the hell else could pull this shit off?

And Bob Mackie is an evil genius. I took a gander at this year's Bob Mackie Holiday Barbie the other day and it looks suspiciously close to that second dress.

Can't say I like Cher but I am sure a lot of detailed work went into those dresses.

I love Cher's songs- don't know the real person/singer too much so can't say if she's boring or interesting.
But those dresses are quite jazzy.

I have no idea why, but she mesmerized me at the age of 9 and she still does. She's her own woman. People usually love her for life or hate her. It's makes me laugh to think how she used to be the scandal queen after she and Sonny divorced. Compared to what goes on now, she was like the girl next door.

I LOVED her on the Sonny and Cher show. I honestly thought she was the most beautiful woman ever and would absolutely love if they were aired again.

Some of those dresses are just god-awful tacky but on Cher they're spectacular! Only she could pull them off. Love me some Cher.
