I like his gloves and boots. I slipped in the snow the other day but fortunately it was after I put my daughter into her car seat! I think I just don't have boots with a good enough tread, these look like they'd keep you upright. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good winter boot? Something to keep the snow and water out, keep you from falling but not too difficult to get on and off? I'd really appreciate any suggestions!

I'm glad you're not hurt and had already put your daughter in the car. That was always scary for me when my kids were little and you're twisting all around trying to load them and all their stuff in the car.
I love my Sorel boots, I have 3 pairs of various styles. Just got these for christmas: https://www.sorel.com/p/womens-out-n-about-plus-boot-1809121.html?dwvar_1809121_color=286&pos=4
Luckily, we have the Columbia employee store nearby and can get them for less than retail.
sorels are great for snow. when i go to snow, i just wear my vasque hiking boots, but that is probably overkill.
