Omg, I wish I could do this with my kitty cat. Don't know how she'd handle being in there though, lol.

I worked at a children's clothing store as a teen. One day, a young woman came in with a baby wanting to look at the Cabbage Patch figurines (gives you an idea how old I am) to buy one for her baby. I went to unlock the case and got a good look at the baby... it was a cat, who then meowed. She was acting like that cat was a baby -- the way she held it, talked to it, swaddled it. My manager heard the meow and came up to the case. The two of us were so stunned. My manager was great though. She asked the woman to see her baby and commented it looked really hot. She told the woman that it would probably be best to take the baby home for a nap. The woman agreed.

It was the weirdest thing. It was hilarious, except that we knew how disturbed the woman was. That is why, as much as I love my cats, I'm not strolling them around the neighborhood. I do want to build a catio though.

that's actually pretty sad. i'm impressed that your manager was so profesh about it. a lot of people would've mocked that woman.

another reason i don't have the personality for retail.

I've seen those cats in pictures but every cat I've ever had or encountered just drops when you put a leash on them. There's no way they're going to be dragged around like a dog.

The pictures are so charming. Jennifer seems like a loving, attentive mother which is just what those kids need with Ben Affleck as their dad.

My cat is indoor, but loves the outdoors. She escaped once when my sister left my patio door open all night, & I was so worried she'd get hit by a car, attacked by a dog, or just get lost & I'd never see her again. 3 days later in the early morning hours, she returned, pawing at the patio door to be let in. Thank goodness! She'd had quite an adventure & had some sticky sappy stuff on her fur that I had to shave off. tl;dr: I think she'd love a walk around outside, but I'm not letting her roam on her own.

I've always had cats that were almost exclusively outdoor cats because I grew up in a pretty rural area and we were surrounded by the woods. There are still three of the original fluffballs at my parents and they spend more time indoors now that they are older, but are still primarily outdoor cats. The wouldn't know what to do without the freedom to trot around and lay out in the sun or climb trees. But I can imagine an indoor cat being the exact opposite, like "Why on earth are you taking me out here? It's hot and dirty and smells!"

The cat I had growing up was indoor/outdoor. She would follow us on walks. She always came to our front porch, stood on the railing and pawed the door to be let in. Sweetest cat. Sometimes she brought us "presents," like a mouse or bird, and dropped them on the porch... or our pillows. Still don't know how she got in without someone noticing the dead thing in her mouth.
