I hate her with blonde hair and that dress looks like she's ready to head into the Magic Kingdom to swap out with Cinderella.

She is one of those people that tries desperately to be crazy and wacky - like Cyndi Lauper or Gaga - but is not intrinsically interesting, intelligent, or creative in any way, so every time she wears some oddball thing, which is always, she looks like a fucking moron.

I wish she’d go back to dark hair! It makes her eyes pop & the blonde is just...there. It doesn’t do anything for her.

at least she’s not wearing her hair in that super short, shaved sides haircut that looked absolutely hideous on her.

This looks exactly like a bridesmaid dress I wore in 1985. Same length, same poofy sleeves. Except my dress was royal blue taffeta and I wore the satin dyed to match shoes from Baker’s.

I never recognize her, she looks so different to me every time I see a thread about her. The only thing that does seem to be consistent with her is looking ridiculous.

Spirituality is not religion. Religion divides people. Belief in something unites them.

I don't condone violence but there is also something to be said about silencing her inane autotuned caterwauling and frankly I think she should start there.

I wondered what it was all about TM being transcendental meditation

It's not a bad idea, but why does it need a benefit concert? According to the site, it's just about sitting comfortably and closing your eyes for 20 minutes a day and the benefit part of this event is I guess to get the word out to "at-risk youth" but I'm a bit skeptical about that. What's wrong with Twitter and YouTube and some pamphlets for teachers and mental health professionals? And attaching Katy Perry's name to pretty much anything makes me take it less seriously from the get go, so...

    eta

The benefit concert is raising funds to bring the TM technique to 10,000 at-risk youth.
“I have been practicing TM for over nine years, and it has changed my life,” says Katy Perry. “It is one of the most important tools I use to keep me balanced and creative with a positive mindset. I am so proud to give an intimate performance at the "Silence the Violence" benefit concert at The Anthem on October 11 to raise funds to bring the power of meditation to 10,000 D.C.-area young people.”
Lord, she tortured these people with an "intimate performance." Again, I think the focus should have been on keeping Katy Perry being silent.

Now that I like Orlando Bloom, (because of Carnival Row) all I can think when I see photos of Katy Perry is, "Why, Orlando, WHY?"

I can't handle Orlando at all ever since those pics of him came out of him throwing his poodle into a backpack and riding off on his motorcycle. I will probably watch Carnival Row though...
