i love the new espadrilles but i fucking hate that dress, it's even more old ladyish and dusty looking than the alberta ferretti she wore a few days ago.

the print is so ugly it makes me angry. who the fuck buys a dress with that print on it in 2019? it looks like leftovers from the svetlana 1983 summer collection from, like, soviet slovakia or something.

Are open toes a no-no for Royals? The shoes don't bother me too much. The cut of the dress is nice but I've seen that print before on my dad's ties from 1982.

The dress is practical for a gardening visit. It's not meant to be anything special. She looks appropriate and the kids seem to be engrossed in her visit.

When did “appropriate” become synonymous with “butt ugly”?

I like the dress a lot, it's simple and summery looking, kind of retro both in style and print. She outshines it anyway with her interactions with those kids.

    That made me LOL.

But hey, I wore a dress just like that before...in the emergency room before getting my back x-rayed. And it wasn't even my first choice under those circumstances.

And MY GOD, she's wearing BEIGE earrings. How the hell does someone own beige earrings?!?!?!? Is it to make her ears appear longer and leaner?

That's a hideous print on the dress.

Not a fan of the print but she looks relaxed and not all buttoned up like she does when more formally dressed up.
