She's cute. Kids love to get their nails done. I've taken my niece several times.

It's a day out with mommy getting the nails done. So cute.

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter

All she needs is someone peeling her a grape.

Ha, I can top that. I've never had a salon pedicure or manicure. And my nails are real, and fab, and I'm always getting compliments. It's really not that difficult to take care of them on your own.

And...I know someone who got some nasty toenail fungus from a salon, I mean her toenails fell off and shit. You know how long it takes to grow back a big toe toenail? And getting rid of the fungus? No thanks.

    But I digress...

I do my own too! And the fungi lurking in these salons? *shudders*

I do my own nails too. I can't handle anyone touching my feet.

Harper is a cutie and I like the dress.

I have never had one either. Way too weird to have people fiddle with my hands and feet. As for fungus, I also know someone who caught one first time she ever had a pedi. Her toenails turned partially green.

i got my first mani and pedi when i was about harper's age. well, they didn't really do the whole thing but they would paint my nails a very pale pink. my grandmother was old school and used to get her hair washed and styled at the local salon every week, and she'd get her nails done too, and when i was little she would take me with her and they'd paint my nails. it's pretty harmless.

I remember my grandmothers doing the wash and set every week at the salon too, and I still don't understand how that works. If I don't wash my hair daily, I look like an oil slick, and if I go to the gym, it needs to be washed again.

I take my daughter in the summer on occasion. She doesn't get an actual pedicure. She picks out some sort of pink or lavender pastel color and they just paint her toes. No clipping or anything. She doesn't even put her feet in the water. She loves it and it's cute. once, she even got little polka dots on her lavender toes. I don't do her nails because she'll smudge them before we even get out of the salon.

I used to do my own nails, but it's time consuming and doesn't look as nice.
