Passing the torch: Previous winner Tina Fey wows in lace to support Carol Burnett as she receives prestigious Mark Twain Prize

It is the most coveted award in comedy and Carol Burnett was awarded with the Mark Twain Prize on Sunday.
And the star was supported at the prize-giving ceremony by a slew of funny females, including previous winner Tina Fey.
Tina, who scooped the gong herself in 2010, looked lovely for the event, which was held in Washington, D.C.
The 43-year-old 30 Rock star was sporting a black lace dress with sheer sleeves and neckline, and she teamed it with matching peep toe pumps and a small clutch bag.
