Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
Well, I liked George Clooney--in anything. He could wear a barrell and I would think he was the hottest shit going!
But as for the woman, no one knocked me out. Maybe Felicity Huffman, just because she looked so different than her character on DH, and really looked feminine/together. I didn't hate Michelle Williams dress, didn't love it. I just don't know....

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
Michelle Williams dress was the wrong color for her. She is too light skinned and blonde. Naomi Watts dress was really bad. Jessica Alba looked good but damn she needs to get some more meat on those bones. I love her smile.

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
^^I agree about Michelle's dress color. It could have been a bit softer and would have suited her better. Though, I give her a thumbs up for daring to be different. Charlize looked HORRIBLE, and I hated Keira's hair/makeup/paleness/attitude, etc.
No one really stood out!! At least I don't think so....

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
I thought Michelle Williams won, hands down. Her hair was incredible, make-up gorgeous, and the dress to die for. She really surpised me. I wouldn't have thought the dress color, hair color, and lipstick would work together, but she totally rocked.
Although I despise JHo, her dress was gorgeous. Her faux orange tan was another story.
Keira looked fab, Nicole looked fab, Uma, fab. Felicity, fab. Charlize, chic dress, but disliked hair and makeup.
Disliked Jada's dress, but that could be because I find her so ugly. Naomi was all one color--hair, makeup, skin, dress, which wasn't attractive.
Worst look was probably Jennifer Anniston. If you could call it a "look."

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
I think Felicity Huffman wins this one. Her makeup, hair, DRESS, all flawless. And she pulled it off really well too.
Charlize looked ok - but I believe we're all tiring of her good looks time after time.
Michelle Williams' dress/entire ensemble looked a little too much for her; like a child playing in her mother's clothes.

How can you "tire" of someone's good looks? I never do.

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
Best dressed male went to Terrence Howard in my opinion. I loved that he went a little different with the diamond brooch on the lapel. I think he should have left off the rose boutonniere, but otherwise, he looked fab.
Best dressed woman to me was Reese Witherspoon. I wasn't the biggest fan of her dress, but she looked amazing last night. Her hair and make-up were great and the color of the dress was good, the design was just a little off.

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
I thought Reese was great. Her dress was different from the same old floor length gowns. Breath of fresh air. Charlize took that risk and I think it ruined the dress.

Re: Best Dressed for Oscars 2006
i loved michelle williams' whole look.
uma thurman looked gorgeous but the dress itself wasn't that exciting.
most people hated them, but i loved both naomi watts' dresses. the givenchy powder pink was gorgeous and the second one was crazy but somehow it worked. i also think she's hiding that she's pregnant, as both dresses were good at covering the stomach
salma hayek's dress is gorgeous, but not on her. should have chosen something more suited to her curves and height
jen aniston's dress and hair were uninspiring but that necklace was the most beautiful piece of jewlry i saw all night, along with michelle williams' necklace.
for the men, i'd say david straithern, george clooney, joaquin phoenix and heath ledger.
