Rapture is the thing with the righteous zombies, right? We don't have that in the Greek orthodox church...I kind of wish we did, now. I still would have become an atheist, but church would have been more entertaining (as it turns out, I could only fantasize about nicking the communion wine because it tasted so good...as soon as I was old enough to figure out you can buy that brand of red in supermarkets, I was out of there).

Don't give up hope, sometimes they find their way
home. I read a story about a lady whose cat got lost
in a move, and he found her hundreds of miles away.
He had never even been to the new city before. The
lady said it was from constantly thinking about him
and focusing on her love for him. Like some sort of
ESP thing brought him back to her. Cat's do have
many cool talents!
The rature chick is still with us and as always a real
pleasure to be around.

True story. Our cat disappeared one day and after much searching, knocking on doors etc there was no sign of her. After 3 days we thought, that's that. Anyway, some 8 WEEKS later we heard a mewing at the door and lo and behold there was Cookie. Very thin but otherwise perfectly healthy. She'd obviously been accidentally locked away in a shed somewhere. Took her to the vet who said that apart from being dehydrated and VERY hungry she was absolutely fine.
