This is my big concern. Depending on how unstable she may be, a disappointment of this magnitude might make her go postal or something. Maybe you shouldn't go to work tomorrow.
And before the fundies come after me, I'm not saying all believers are crazy, but this particular belief in the rapture being tomorrow seems fairly concrete and she's depending on its occurring as scheduled.

Yes, in all seriousness, if you have your entire life wrapped up in such a strong belief, how DO you go on after that belief is completely shattered and you look (and feel) like total idiot?? Its a good question grey.....
I would hope this 'religious' woman wouldn't go insane, but still, you just don't know.
PLEASE keep us updated!! I would love to know her 'explanation' as to why it didn't work out.
PS: I'm starting to wonder if this may have some merit, I mean....Hillary is dropping out and Paris might be preggo. What else do you need???

A friend years ago used to spout off about them, and she said she was going to get involved with them and infiltrate the government so she could work from the inside. I just thought to myself that they must not be too scary a group if she was a potential recruit.

What's hilarious is there are a ton of websites that you can upload 'goodbye cruel world!' messages to your heathen family or unbeliever friends that will automatically go into their inboxes if 3 of the sites owners dont' show up one day and input their ID's (assuming they get raptured away, naturally)...

So.... are the chosen ones just supposed to disappear one day, or are they all supposed to die all at once? And anyways, if god REALLY wanted to test his faithful ones, he would let them stick around for the Tribulation. This life is a cake-walk compaired to what the tribulation's gonna be like. I'm I supposed to be worried that my child is just gonna up and disappear tommorrow?

As far as I understand it, The Rapture is what happens before Armageddon when those who've been born again through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Praise Him, Amen! (note I'm covering my bets here) are mysteriously 'vanished' to Heaven. They don't die - they just disappear. Anyone left has not been Born Again and Saved through OLJC and must remain here to face His wrath on Judgment Day. So in theory all the happy clappy Born Agains will vanish from the face of the Earth. Hallelujah!!!
