After Anderson Cooper 7/31/2012
Posted on July 31, 2012 by BobLarson

The “Anderson Cooper Show” has decided to re-air the February 22, 2012 show taped with me and the Teenage Exorcists. It airs today, Tuesday, July 31. (To see excerpts of the show, go to: http://www.andersoncooper.com/episodes/i-am-a-teenage-exorcist-plus-jesse-tyler-ferguson-modern-family/.) Of all the national media appearance I have done, this was by far the most hostile. Cooper has a reputation for being a fair journalist, but his treatment of me was far from fair. It was “ambush” journalism at its worst. Anderson was cynical with his mind made up from the start. He accused the teenage exorcists of being “robotic,” “acting,” and only wanting a reality show. Somehow Cooper couldn’t handle the idea that three young Christian women could be poised, beautiful, intelligent and God-fearing. At one point he tried to paint me as homophobic. (He has since come out as proudly gay.) He complained that it cost $9.95 to go to DemonTest.com, our web site, and take the test that shows the likelihood of demonic possession. When I explained that we have internet management costs to build and maintain the site, Cooper admitted that he scored high on the test! That’s no surprise. Cooper’s brother committed suicide right in front of him by jumping to his death from a tall building.

Worst of all, Anderson stacked all the other guests against us, including a priest who called our ministry “voodoo magic.” He also brought on an Assemblies of God missionary who doesn’t believe Christians can have demons and whose daughter was reportedly abused more than 10 years ago in an exorcism gone bad. (As if somehow her unfortunate experience was typical of what we do.) Worse yet, he turned his stage over to a self-styled Baptist preacher with a vendetta against all deliverance ministries. The man mocked our ministry (to the cheers of the audience, egged on by Cooper) and accused me of taking five offerings a night in our seminars, a patently false lie. But in spite of all efforts to portray me and the teenage exorcists as having ill-motives, we were able to get our message across.

Anderson failed to mention that five years ago he sent his top reporter, Tom Foreman, to shadow me for an entire day of investigative journalism and found nothing negative to say. I expected Cooper to be adversarial because of his obvious disdain for Christianity. But the saddest scene was the Assemblies of God missionary and the Baptist preacher who willingly were manipulated by Cooper to attack other Christians. Matthew 18:15 is clear that if you have anything against a brother, you don’t become the pawn of an unbelieving TV host to broadcast your differences nationwide.

In spite of Anderson’s cynical comments about our wanting a reality show, he inadvertently became our biggest promoter. We weren’t seeking a reality show, but following his show we have received more than 100 offers to do a reality show, and are still weighing what to do. Because of our appearance on Anderson, we subsequently appeared on Nightline, ABC-TV’s Good Morning American, the largest network in France, the largest network in Brazil, the Travel Channel, the #1 network in Germany, Fox News and a host of local TV shows. And this fall, the Lifetime channel will air again our reality show “The Real Exorcist.” Thanks, Anderson. You meant to vilify us but God turned it into blessing. Genesis 50:20-21 puts it this way: You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Anderson’s Aftermath

The Teenage Exorcists backstage at the Anderson Cooper Show.

Now you’ve seen the show, perhaps for the second time. One thing is certain. When it comes to a national TV show, they don’t repeat unless it gets good ratings. People were obviously interested in the topic of exorcism. Anderson Cooper may not have liked us, but millions of Americans did. One wrote on our Facebook, “I’ve never seen such hate attacking religion. You and the girls had much more respect than those people.”

We received similar messages from many grateful people, a good number reaching out for help. Millions heard a strong testimony for Christ and saw the godly example of young people on fire for the Lord. How often does that make it on national TV? We didn’t ask to be on the show. They insistently pursued us. This was a God thing. Imagine yourself, 17-years-of-age, in front of a hostile audience and host. Even the Christians on-stage with you are attacking. Frankly, once you’ve been through a few exorcisms, Anderson Cooper is a lightweight compared to actual demons.

More than a hundred Hollywood companies have contacted us about doing a TV show. They all said the same thing—what impressed them was the way the Teenage Exorcists exhibited grace and poise under fire. They may not understand the reason for such calmness, the presence of Christ. Still, these hard-nosed media executives sensed there was something very special about these young woman. Where this all goes from here we don’t know. But we are confident that with your prayers and support even greater opportunities are ahead. “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men,” says Proverbs18:16. Maybe the biggest lesson of Anderson Cooper is that uncompromising, holy boldness opens doors that no man can shut

They claim to have all these offers for the show, where in the World is the show?

Did I ever link to their official site? It amazes me how seldom this thing gets updated. For instance, the videos. Who hasnt seen those a million times already?

Thats something I can get behind, if only for the bad literacy. She needs to watch TV though if she want to see "real" evil.... reality shows, thats where the devil resides!

'On Sunday I go to church 9am to 1pm, then I go home for lunch. Then Iím back at the church again at 9pm.

'Monday Iím at college, but I work with three girls at my college who I help with their demons.

'Friday and Saturday I spend all my time at the church, and doing exorcisms where needed.'
And on Wednesdays she fornicates for the devil to create a larger client base.

Srly NVash, is this dude from your church or something? Coz you appear to be a great advert for him

^ Nah, nowhere near my area but Id be lying if I didnt say I find it all interesting. Im really hoping they get the reality show TBH. Im still on the wall as to whether or not I think theyre a fraud but it would probably make some good viewing nevertheless.

Could be. Or they arent getting any offers at all and theyd just like everyone to believe they are. Who knows?

New interview with them.

Cant believe I never saw these before. I havent watched them yet but just about every interview Ive seen rehashes things theyve already said. Ive noticed this poster seems to have nothing but videos on Mr. Larson and the exorcists.

Even the Anderson Cooper interview! Remember they talked about how this didnt go so well for them so this ought to be interesting.

Mr. Larson has his own Youtube.

And a video I just stumbled across that claims to 'expose' him.

Teen Exorcism Squad and Lizard Man
Theyre on TV again, now on the show 'Paranormal Paparazzi' on the Travel Channel. Seems they cant get their own show but they can nab a ton of appearances.

Theyre still around folks and it looks as if we just passed a year since the original article. Still no luck with their TV series.

http://www.gofundme.com/internationalmissions
They are currently trying to raise funds for some Missions Trips to Russia, Ukraine, Africa and other places. What I dont get is this. Im sure Bob has a ton of cash if he isnt a multi-millionaire. Theyre talking about they need $3000 apiece, one of them is his own daughter. Why doesnt he fund them? As I said from the beginning Ive been interested in this since day one because Im sure theyre frauds. Either theyre aware of it or Bob has kept them in the dark and they truly believe theyre helping people but Im sure theyre frauds. I think this, if anything, may prove it.

http://www.demontest.com/
Bob charges $10 to give the test and find out if someone has a demon to begin with then he charges boatloads of cash to 'cast the demons out' of them. Its obvious he isnt about helping people because if he were this stuff would be free and these kids would already be out helping people. IIRC even Anderson Cooper called him out for charging people.

Look at that gofundme link above. As of this posting they havent raised one cent and its been around for a month. Thats pitiful.

It's a scam so why would he spend his own money? He's trying to rip off other people, that's the whole point.
