People's faith in God doesn't scare me, it is the fanatics who scare me. Lets look at it realistically - as long as there is religion there will be fanatics too. And i don't like to know that.

If you got rid of religion, ultranationalism or ultraethnicism would take its place.

Humanity needs to be separated into freaks and normies. The freaks get tossed in the ocean.

I think our nature is to be self-centered. We find various ways to band with others like us, to preserve our particular interests & serve our particular agenda. It happens in the most primitive & the most advanced societies. Religion is just one way that it's done.
