We can get great corned beef in my area at any good jewish deli...and yes, it's similar to pastrami, both are made from beef brisket.......I've never seen it in a tin (sounds gross)

A former members description of the twelve tribes cult
It is the aim of the Twelve Tribes to obliterate all independence(thought, action, freedom of movement, opinions, access to information, access to families) and to drive them into a hopeless, dispirited, gray herd of robots. They have lost all personal ambition, are easy to rule willing to obey and willing to exist in selfless slavery to Elbert Eugene Spriggs (the leader).

I ate at a place called Common Ground and they had hollowed out tree booths too. They seemed very hippy communal and kept selling us homeade bread. It was good. Food was all veggie, no meat or booze.
Didn't drink the kool-aid though. I dont remember any religious material, but I was a clueless teen, so it could have been painted on my forehead and I would have missed it.
Odd that there's more than one? Granted I havent been there in 9 years so I dont know if its still there...

Damn. Just like most cults then. (Scientology comes to mind immediately.)
How did you escape? And could you get that sandwich recipe for our long-suffering buttmunch??

Why can I not find the recipe in recipes? A*O? I must have it now that I've left Oz and there are no cults of this type in my current area.
