Rapture next week?

I work with a woman who is absolutely sure that she will be
in heaven next week on either June 6th or 7th. She told me
that the rapture will begin then. She said she knows this from
research she has done on pentecostal teachings.

I totally wanted to ask her that Grimm, but I just
started this job, so i thought better of it. She
was considering time zone changes, that's why it's
both days.

Well hey, I'm about 18 hours ahead of the US so I will be in 6th June before she is. I'll let you know what happens OK? If I don't post after then you'll know something happened. No wait, only 'the saved' will be sucked up into heaven. The rest of us have to stay here and take what's coming to us. Tremble.

tell her I thought it would be pretty hard to
kill over 6 billion people. She said they would
do it in levels. And that pandemics would take
most of us out.
I asked her what they would do
with all the bodies. She said she has seen pics
of new world order people posing for pics next
to these gigantic rows of plastic coffins. I asked her
why they would bother putting us in coffins of plastic?
To keep the smell down? She didn't know. I tried not
to piss her off, but I was very curious about her thinking.
So I continued on. I told her I thought it would be impossible
to find enough people to carry out this heinous act. She
said they are everywhere.
I would so totally not be going to work at all if I thought
my last day on earth was in less than a week. But that's me!

WTH? I hadn't heard of this--I'm guessing raptured meaning die and
go to heaven?? So does this count for everyone on earth? I'm too
lazy to look this up, just thought I'd ask; don't have to answer.

EDIT: Ouch--I didn't see that last post. Scary... reminds me of that
2012 end of the world/spiritual awakening thing then?? So I guess
she's going by the 6-6-06 thing? But wouldn't that be two years
ago? I also hear they're going to poison our food by 2009 or so...
and people will be dying from diseases to decrease the population
count and put the rest of us in concentration camps. So is this tied
with that or something else? I'm interested in hearing more about it.
My sis's Bday is actually coming up around that time LOL.

the tribulation begins. But there are 4 different views
about the rapture, She is one who believes it will happen
before the trib. Here's what wiki says. Apparently no one
has come to a definite theory. Except this chick I work with.

Wow, I'm amazed that you stuck around and picked her brain about this. Me, I woulda been like, "See ya, ya fuckin' loon!" as soon as the word "rapture" left her mouth! I just can't deal with religious nuts.

Totally. Maybe she'll move to the next state in shame.

She wasn't pissing me off or anything. I have a very curious
nature and love to talk with people about things. Plus she was
the one training me, so I really could not have left. I actually
find it fascinating to hear things like this. Which is why I ran
home to post this, lol! I did stop at the beer store first though!

Hmm wow. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.
This stuff is fascinating to me but I don't really take any of it
seriously.
