Do you believe in life after death?

This is NOT a religious question, although those of you 'of faith' might think so. I think there most definitely IS something else, not Heaven or Hell as such, just a transition to a new dimension. I do believe we have souls and I do believe they are immortal and I do believe that some of them come back to inhabit 'new' hosts here on Earth - it's all part of the Master Plan.

I don't believe in heaven or hell, or in life after death in any shape or form, including reincarnation. I think when you're dead you're dead.

Hmm. I believe there has to be something, not heaven as such. I can't imagine myself running through the clouds looking down on everyone it seems too far fetched. I always used to have deep thoughts when I was younger thinking that if there is nothing after death then what would the 'nothing' be, like blackness? even blackness is something how can it just all end and time stop? Then I'd get so confused and have to stop myself and think happy thoughts

I like the idea that we come back as another being, we just have no recollection of who or what we were before. It would explain all the past life stories we hear about. Although the ones who claim to have been Napoleon or Elvis I generally believe are crazy.

I have no idea about heaven and hell, frankly I think they're silly and obvious constructs of the human mind.

However, given all the paranormal stuff around us.. ghosts, poltergeists, etc.. either there's some alternate plane of reality out there, or we leave some of our being behind when we kick on.. a shadow of ourselves, an imprint of sorts..

I had to stop reading those song words Monkey I was filling up, I would love a sign from my Dad now but when he first passed away I was too young to know to ask him so I guess now its too late. I do feel sometimes that he's around, like if I'm scared suddenly a thought of him will pop into my head from knowhere and I'm not afraid any more.

I refuse to believe that there's some eternal place of horrible torment waiting for a semi-evolved species of ape that got sent there as punishment for sticking a part of its body into the orifice of another ape.

Seems kind of stupid when you think about it that way.
