    Default Vatican Priest in red light area car chase

    Vatican priest spotted in a red light district led police on a high-speed car chase that left three officers injured.
    Father Cesare Burgazzi, 51, said he fled because he thought the plain-clothes police were robbers. During the chase in Rome, two police cars crashed.
    Father Burgazzi denies wounding and resisting arrest.
    His lawyer told a court: "My client is not a user of prostitutes or trans-sexuals. He was simply on his way home after a night out at a restaurant."
    Sentencing was adjourned.
