There is, you know God's been holding little Caylee in his arms for a long time. It's such a shame to know the little girl was murdered, but at the same time, it's comforting to know she's in a better place, where she'll actually be loved by someone, or something. I'm confident, Heaven is where she is.

I hope her mother fries. I really do. There's a special place in Hell for her.

While all child killings are heinous, and all child killers are evil, this case makes me feel icky. I kind of feel betrayed in a sense. I wasn't overly optimistic thinking she was alive, because I figured she was dead from the get-go.

I just didn't want to believe a mother could be so smug about the entire thing. I always felt like she was a 6yo girl prancing around singing "I have a secret", all the while knowing it was the secret everyone wanted to hear. It's almost like she liked the "did she, or didn't she" talk that has been going on for months.

It's just incredibly sad that her mom probably killed her, and seemed to enjoy the whole cat and mouse after the fact.

^ None of us get it, but we are also not mentally disturbed.

There are people on GR that understand mental disorders better than me, but to me, Casey is a text book sociopath/anti-social personality disorder. It explains her behavior perfectly IMO.

I'll post some of the traits in a minute, you'll see she fits a lot of the criteria.... but I am no professional...... I do believe my brother is a true sociopath though.

    Here are some sociopathic/APD traits:

Here is a list of ways to identify a sociopath. This list is from "Profile of a Sociopath". Is is a pretty good list of sociopathic indicators.
    • Glibness/Superficial Charm
    • Manipulative and Conning
    • Grandiose Sense of Self
    • Pathological Lying
    • Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
    • Shallow Emotions
    • Incapacity for Love
    • Need for Stimulation
    • Callousness/Lack of Empathy
    • Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
    • Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
    • Irresponsibility/Unreliability
    • Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
    • Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
    • Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
    • Contemptuous of those who seek to understand them
    • Does not perceive that anything is wrong with them
    • Authoritarian
    • Secretive
    • Paranoid
    • Only rarely in difficulty with the law, but seeks out situations where their tyrannical behavior will be tolerated, condoned, or admired
    • Conventional appearance
    • Goal of enslavement of their victim(s)
    • Exercises despotic control over every aspect of the victim's life
    • Has an emotional need to justify their crimes and therefore needs their victim's affirmation (respect, gratitude and love)
    • Ultimate goal is the creation of a willing victim
    • Incapable of real human attachment to another
    • Unable to feel remorse or guilt
    • Narcissism, grandiosity (self-importance not based on achievments)
    • May state readily that their goal is to rule the world
(Obviously, in order to be a sociopath a person doesn't have to exhibit anything like all the above. Usually, the lack of a conscience, the manipulation of others, dishonesty and the inability to love and/or have lasting and profound personal relations and cruelty are key symptoms and often much more revealing than having been in trouble with the courts).

At least half that list are traits that Casey Anthony exhibits/has exhibited during this investigation.

That list is spot on. The only problem is that these people don't see these traits in themselves.

Poor sweet baby she's at peace at least. I hope Casey has to wonder what her precious little girl would have been like what sports would she play, what she'd be when she grew up what SHE Casey the witch robbed the world of knowing about that adorable little baby. She probably doesn't even care.

Sociopaths? Yes. Pigfucking shitstains? Also applies. You can give it a technical name but 'unfeeling monster' covers it just as well.

    Do it anyway

omg DD that list was scary; i kno someone like that and have been calling him on it for quite sometime, but to him, there's nothing wrong with his behaviour

the thing is, is that b/c sociopaths can be so damn charming, they go unnoticed by professionals as this guy i kno who is totally one is in line to become a cop and he had to do a mental test and passed and the guy who tested him loved him he told me, which i believe to be true and anyways i kno that a lot of cops are sociopathic.

the trait about having a parasitic lifestyle is quite fascinating as well. i dont think its possible to treat these ppl; they're like narcissists; totally unaware of themselves and how wrong they are - they dont really kno right from wrong anyways.
