Anyone else totally hear the Goonies theme song and picture them tracking the car down on a little girl's bike with a basket on the front? No? Maybe I need sleep.

    Great story!

Hate to say that but I'm wondering if within the time he had the girl for 2 hours he has already done something and then started driving away which is why he was willing to let her go when spotted. The deed was done, he needed to get away.
    I really hope I'm wrong.

In all the Zimmerman hoopla I forgot to comment on this story.

I love these kids and I hope they get amply rewarded for their bravery and courage.
