Well, we all have our priorities. It's one thing to cuckold dear old dad; it's another to take his head off with a shovel.

The weird part is that Sugarland has already written a heartfelt song about it and performed it at the Grand Ole Opry.

One of Thompson's tattoos was of the letters "FTW" on his left shoulder. That, though, is not the weird part.
Serious question...was does FTW mean, and how is it *not* weird?

Google is not being my friend. It doesn't help me to know that FTW can mean "Future Technology Workshop" or that it's the airport code for Fort Worth Meacham Field.

"For the win"? He does look like a real winner.

Oh wait, I only skimmed the story. Was the dead dad the one with the tattoo? He definitely wasn't a winner.

For ages it would crack me up when people used it to mean 'for the win' instead.

*steps into the current decade* I thought it always meant "for the win." What does it mean then? All these net-acronyms sound stupid to me most of the time so I don't even pay attention.

The wife was at her friend's when she heard the news, but he'd been missing for 3 days so does that mean she went to church on Sunday and by Wednesday she still hadn't been home to check on her 3 children or notice that her husband was missing along with his head? I'd love to see her crackie mugshot too.

It usually means For The Win, but since the 'son' did the tattooing I suspect it really meant Fucked The Wife.
