None of the people the parents were dining with ,gave an internew or spoke to the media.
In such a case you would think they would be all over tv and papers.
    Their silence is strange.
Something is very wrong here and i am afraid we will never find out what...

It's interesting that the timeline given by the McCanns is different from otehr patrons in the bar, such as how often they went and checked, etc. And now the friends are in teh papers saying 'stop smearing the McCanns'. I just get such an odd feeling over this and I really hope they or any of their freinds didn't have anything to do with it. That would break my heart as well as piss me off beyond words.

I think its a terribly sad thing. As a parent myself, I could NEVER imagine leaving 3 young ones in bed alone in a FOREIGN COUNTRY while I went out to dinner. Thats just appalling. I think they know good and well what happened to their daughter, just like that other couple (in Florida) who claimed their baby was "kidnapped" from her crib. The father in that scenario was highly suspicious---waving and smiling at the cameras while his baby daughter was missing.

I hope they find Madeline but I don't feel its going to end well.

I doubt they'll find her and if they do, I think the kid has probably been to hell and back again. And I agree that leaving your kids unattended while you have dinner is beyond irresponsible. They keep saying it was only 50 meters but when you see what it was on a map, it's much futher, around several buildings, etc. I just cannot believe someone would do that.

The poor kid is gone,i dont think we will ever know what happened and from the very beggining of this sad case i had the feeling the parents were not acting normal.
Even if they arent involved somehow in the kid,s kiddnaping, they surely are responsible for exposing their kids to danger.
    And we biker about Britney...

^^Yes, there is always teh nanny. I'm starting to think brit isn't such a bad mother after all.

Now, back to reality. If parent left three young children unattended like this in thier home and went out to dinner, wouldn't they be in big trouble with the child authorities?

That is what i am thinking, the parents are hurting..but they left thier kids alone, there are laws about it,if a counsil flat family was doing it ,they will have the twins taken away...

^^spot on, effie, and don't think that it hasn't been brought up in the press here. Unfortunately, some people see mentioning that as kicking them while they're down but let's get real. On the dole and living in a council flat=your kids taken away in a situation like this. Well to-do doctors well respected in thier community=we must bleed sympathy for them in thier self-made plight.
