Only a jury of idiots or arseholes would allow a lawyer to convince them that an alleged scammer (of which there is no proof) had it coming and deserved a fatal bullet in the neck. I just can't see any justification for this.

Because they were running a scam. She and her pimp/driver were seeking out men to rip off. This neanderthal just happened to cross their path.
Let me say again: no,the verdict was not justified in any way.

    Ok.

So if I move to Texas I can legally shoot every asshole who doesn't deliver on a service I paid for?

And why isn't this guy getting arrested or fined? He was soliciting a prostitute (or at least thought he was).

So fucking a dude for money is illegal. But it's okay for him to kill you if you don't. If that's what he thinks he's paying for. Got it. Glad I'm not single and a Texan. I don't think I'd feel safe going on a date in Texas!

That's the thing, it was not a scam, that's all she does is hang out and do lap dances. Some people may offer full sex for $150.00, some people offer literally "3 hole specials for $150" She should have returned the fee and left but I still think this would have ended in a fucked up way no matter what.
