^^ I wouldn't be caught dead in a place like that even as a child

Do grownups go there? You know, without kids?

Hell no. It's pretty much the 7th circle of hell.

I say its for kids from 3 to 7. Adults are only there because of the kids.
Watch out for pee in the tubes. I guess someone thought they were a big kid and didn't need their Pull Ups. Those tubes smell like pee.

The most accurate description possible. The should advertise it as such.

My son crawled up into the tubes at a b-day party one time when he was around 3, and wouldn't come down because he knew it was time to leave. We almost had to get one of the workers to climb up in there to get him. He finally came down on his own because he knew I'd beat his ass if he didn't, cuz I wanted to get out of there.

(I wouldn't really have beaten his ass, but I would have thought about it because just being inside a CEC makes me want to become violent! )

One of my friends used to work there, and from what I understand, there used to actually be some sort of rule regarding adults going without kids. I don't know the specifics, but I think it was something like "no one over the age of 18 unless you are part of a child's birthday party". They checked IDs at the door. It actually makes a lot of sense since no normal adult would want to go there for anything other than suspicious reasons.

That's good to know. It is definitely not an adult-friendly establishment. Maybe if someone lost a bet or something.

Even when I was a kid I never really liked Chuck-E-Cheese. Well mostly cause I sucked at the games and never won enough tickets for what I wanted. But also because the place is just nasty. The one time I went there was when I was 7 and went for a cousin's b-day party. I went into the tubes and around the corner I crawled right into a small puddle of pee. I crawled right out and told my parents and they told a worker, and to this day I remember the guy just shrugging and saying "It happens."

So I'm not surprised it's still a shitty place 20 years later.

^^ That's why I never really liked playgrounds and the play areas that some restaurants and supermarkets have. They always smell like pee, and everything is sticky. And kids put everything in their mouths. Ew.

Yeah I should probably never procreate.

She should have minded her own business but surely that's no reason to attack an old lady.
