I think Mohandas was being completely ironic, with the huge bruise on his face and shoulders, probably from where his brother hit the gas and ran over him.

I fail to see the irony.

Really? You totally missed that joke?

I think calling him a sociopath is fair enough. He blew limbs off of a dozen people, killed four, and probably caused a couple hundred new cases of anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder. Apply DSM criteria if you must but most are happy enough to call him a sick mother fucker.

The post mortem photo is interesting. I'm guessing the larger blur is covering a thoracotomy wound which is something that is done as a last ditch effort to keep someone alive.

Prayers go out to the medical team taking care of the younger brother tonight. It would be incredibly hard to keep your distance and maintain professionalism in that situation, particularly if you've previously cared for the victims.

Yes! I tend to get focused on one track and miss shit like that. Believe you me, my brothers and every BF has found it hilarious to punk me when I'm so gullible and distracted.

Apparently another form of terror took place right after the bombings as well: people looting stands with Marathon memorabilia like jackets etc. I just found this link on google:

The person who posted the clip added this description:

People taking marathon jackets, after the bombings where people were killed including an 8 year old and others lost limbs and other horrific injuries. Just not caring about their own lives just "free" merchandise meant for the runners! Laughing, smoking and grabbing away! Not saying everyone is looting, some in fact may have earned these jackets, but if you're wearing a suit and tie or fat and smoking a cigarette, you did NOT run the marathon and you did not earn the jacket. Get a grip people! Wear them with pride, hope they bring you what you deserve. PS, They are also not just Bostonians, we don't know where they came from or live, a guy in Chicago is selling these jackets on Ebay so these people could be from all over the world. They're just shameful human beings in the face of tragedy getting an armload of free garb they didn't purchase or earn it's disgusting! DISCLAIMER THIS IS THE OFFICIAL QUOTE REGARDING BOSTON MARATHON JACKETS: "For Boston Marathon runners, getting an official Adidas jacket is always one of the exciting parts of the race experience. While some of the jackets look better then others, there's no doubt that they stand out each year, making it quite clear which people trained through the winter and took on this historic course. Here's a slideshow of the past 10 years of official Boston Marathon Jackets." So for those of you who question on whether or not these are for the "taken" or that anyone could give them away, there's your answer.

some of them were clearly going through the boxes, looking at sizes and stealing them. but i have read comments that said people were bringing armfuls of jackets to the injured, to comfort and warm them. so there is some hope.... (hopefully its the majority)

Hi, Olivia. I was being facetious. I didn't mean for you to have a credulous reaction to my comment. Sorry.

Oh don't be. It's my plight to get razzed when I become nearly autistic in my inability to detect humor or social clues while completely and intensely immersed in a problem or just my own head. It's pretty hilarious most the time.

Here's a great (long) story with some history about the family (with an implication that Tamerlan may have killed before)-
