How horrible, those poor people. It's another one of those things that makes you feel like you're not safe any where or at any time.

It reminds me a lot of Eric Rudolph and the Atlanta Olympics bombing.

Boston PD, according to NBC, is reporting 2 dead and 23 injured.

I really don't feel safe anytime I'm in a crowded area. I know I'm paranoid but shit like this makes me realize why I am.

I am in the area (though not immediate area) and I am thankful that most people I know purposely avoid this area due to the marathon. I do know a couple of people who work downtown but that's it. It's much more likely that have affected visitors. It is sickening regardless of who was affected.

I wonder if there's any relationship to the fact that it's Patriots Day here--the Oklahoma City bombings were timed in part based on Patriot's Day.

    Fucking assholes, whoever did it.

Fly, let us know when you hear that everyone is OK.

I forgot they were even running the Boston Marathon today. How sad and scary. One minute you're finishing a marathon and the next you're in an explosion and fighting for your life.

You can search for his name among time results here: Individual - Boston Athletic Association - BAA.org. Depending on when he finished, he might not have gotten to the finish line yet. If you don't see his name at all, it means he was still running when they called off the race, I think.

Someone tweeted that this race was dedicated to the Newtown victims.

ChyaaBoiDanooo ‏@SwahvayDanooo10 2m The explosion occurred in the VIP section for families affected in the Sandy Hook shooting... #NoWords #PrayForBoston

God, I hope this isn't true.Hope its just a rumor.

I just can't.... Apparently some of the Newtown families were there too.

A couple more devices have been found. They'd better find the sicko(s) that did this.
