I'm just not convinced about the porn ring theory. She did have money, she was stealing it though. How do we know she wasn't getting money from guys- boyfriends, sugar daddies, etc.

How long was she out of a job? She could have easily survived off of a few thousand for a month or two.

And where was she going with the kid? Maybe doing drugs, selling her body, partying at unknown friends houses, etc.

Shit, how many people have a job and somehow find plenty of things to do all day- and how many of them have their kids tag along, especially if they are unstable due to mental illness, drug use, etc.?

I guess I am just not convinced by the porn ring involving the police. I need something concrete other than assumptions, it just seems a little far fetched for me. :/

DeadDwarf, Casey has not worked since 2006!! At least, not officially. And if you notice, it seems these theft charges are stemming from incidents that occurred AFTER they think Caylee went missing.

I'm not saying the porn ring theory is written in stone. It's just that, a theory. But Casey was doing *something* for 2 entire years while she was supposedly working and she is just now being accused of stealing. Maybe she did have a sugar daddy. Maybe she was selling her body and leaving the baby with an actual Zenaida (an illegal not in the system?) while she did so. It could literally be hundreds of scenarios. But I am suspicious of LE because of their own behaviour in not trying to nail down where she was getting money, or what she was doing all that time. At the very least, they have botched this case.

I didn't realize she hadn't worked in 2 years. I also would like them to investigate what the source of her income was.

I guess I am not going for the porn theory because I actually know of people like Casey. People who are young and are just flat out losers. They lie, steal and live off of others.

For example, my brother and his friends are total losers and fuck ups. They haven't had jobs in years, but somehow they get money to pay for food and gas. They usually sleep on the couch somewhere or stay at their parents'/friends' houses. My brother was last employed 6 years ago, seriously, 6 years ago. And he has only had 3 paying jobs in his life and he is nearly 30, his longest paying job was 3 months. He is charming and finds women and friends to help him pay for stuff, he lies about his situation and plays the "poor me" pity card. All his friends are in their 20's and just party, drink, do drugs, whatever. There are girls in their circle with children too. They don't work either, where the hell do they get their money?

I guess I can believe she didn't have job for 2 years and didn't sell her daughter for sex. Maybe she did. Maybe the police were in on it. I just hope that wasn't what happened.

June 27- Casey drops off car at Amscot. Claims it broke down
and ran out of gas. Tony picks her up, Casey and
Tony go to CLUB FUSIAN. Confirmed by friends.
June 24 – Casey's ex-fiancé calls her in the afternoon to tell her he has resigned from the Orlando Police Department. He later tells deputies that he heard Casey reprimand Caylee for climbing on a table. He also claims he heard the young girl's voice in the background. (Later states that may not be true...Lie)
George Anthony calls the Orange County Sheriff's Office and reports that someone broke into his storage shed and stole 2 gas cans with about $50.00 worth of gas in them.Later in the day sees Casey who doesn’t want him in the trunk and he finds the cans and calls police to say a neighbor took them..(LIE)

    Read the Burglary Report
    http://blogs.discovery.com/criminal_report/files/george_anthony_burglary.pdf
June? – Casey reportedly gets a tattoo in honor of Caylee that reads "Bella Vida." The English translation of the Italian phrase means "Beautiful Life."
June 30 – The car Casey has been driving, a 1998 white Pontiac with Florida tag G63XV, is towed from an Amscot Financial store at Colonial Drive and Goldenrod Road.Car dumped when amscot was closed
July 3, 2008 – Casey's mother, Cindy Anthony, allegedly posts the following message* to her MySpace blog:
    Subject: My Caylee is missing
    Current mood: Distraught
"She came into my life unexpectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankful for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant; the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies and more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?" [sic throughout].
    *The message has been deleted.
July 4 – Casey allegedly spends the day partying and hanging out with friends. Cooks Dinner for Tony and DJ.
July 4 Weekend – A new concrete slab is allegedly poured in the backyard at Casey's parents’ house. (Rumor never confirmed by LE who only stated they were aware of all the dig project the Anthony’s did)
July 7 – Casey allegedly posts a message* on her MySpace blog. The message, titled "Diary of Days," read:

"On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken
    Trust no one, only yourself.
With great power, comes great consequence.
What is given can be taken away.
    Everyone Lies.
    Everyone Dies."

    *The message has been deleted.
July 15 – Amy Huizenga tells Cindy Anthony where her daughter is staying. Amy later accuses Casey of stealing checks and $700. (Amy filed police report that same day and closed bank account then posted to her facebook about Caylee being missing)
Cindy picks up Casey and places three calls to 911, telling authorities that she wants her daughter arrested for stealing money and a car. Casey had allegedly stolen her mother's credit card when she moved out and, using the card, had run up thousands of dollars in bills. Cindy also tells the dispatcher that her granddaughter is missing.

During the third 911 call, Cindy tells the dispatcher: "There is something wrong. I found my daughter's car today [and] it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car." (Later recants and says it was from left over pizza...George says from left over pizza and detergent LIE)
July 16 – Investigators discover Casey has been lying about her place of employment and other details regarding her daughter's disappearance. As a result, Casey is arrested and charged with child neglect, making false official statements, and obstructing an investigation.
"Based on the repetitive lies that the defendant has told, we do not know with who the child is or even if the child is alive," Corporal Yuri Melich wrote in the arrest affidavit. He added, "It should be noted that at no time during any of the above interviews did the defendant show any obvious emotion as to the loss of her child."

The car Casey had been driving is picked up from the wrecker company, and police question a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez, who claims she does not know Casey Anthony.
While behind bars, Casey calls her family and talks with her mother, Cindy, brother, Lee Anthony, and a friend, identified only as "Kristina." Casey uses profanity during the 13-minute conversation and appears to be angry about comments her mother had made to the media regarding Casey's involvement in the case.

July 22 – Casey appears at her bond hearing before Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland. During the court proceeding, Corporal Melich testifies about the search of Casey's vehicle.
"There was a very bad smell in the car," Melich stated. "Briefly, just before I came into the Child Abuse Division, I was a homicide detective for two years with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and in my experience, the smell that I smelled in that car was the smell of decomposition."
Cindy Anthony also testifies that Fernandez-Gonzalez had been babysitting Caylee for more than a year. However, she admits that she has never actually spoken to or met with Fernandez-Gonzalez.
Following testimony by other family members, Judge Strickland chastises Casey for her behavior and sets her bail at $500,000.

"Not a bit of useful information has been provided by Ms. Anthony as to the whereabouts of her daughter," Strickland said. "And I would add that the truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers."
After the hearing, Cindy Anthony tells the media that Caylee was allegedly spotted at a Tampa airport on July 2; however, an unnamed source later tells WESH.com that the sheriff's office is not optimistic about the tip.

July 26 – Casey phones her brother from jail. During the conversation she states that she believes Caylee is still OK.
"That's still my best feeling at the moment," she said. "If that changes, then obviously I'm going to reach out and say something immediately, but I know mom will understand this more than anyone that there's that bond type of bond that you have with your kid and it's unexplainable."

July 29 – Judge Stan Strickland, citing the First Amendment, denies the protective order motion.

A former inmate who was housed at the county jail with Casey comes forward with information about the case. Inmate Travis Nichols, 20, tells investigators that Casey told him Caylee is with one of her ex-boyfriends. The sheriff's office investigates the claim, but discount it because they are unable to verify details of the alleged conversation,
    denied by family of course

July 30 – Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum issues a written response to the appeal request that Baez filed on July 24. Within it, McCollum concludes that Baez, "failed to show that such action by the trial court was arbitrary, fanciful, or unreasonable."

"Um. I guess understandably just being out of contact. But um. I mean as far as I'm concerned nothing's really changed."

The call comes to an abrupt end moments later when the connection is lost.

July 31 – In an effort to better understand the psyche of Casey Anthony, Investigation Discovery enrolls the help of Dr. Deborah Schurman-Kauflin, a renowned criminal profiler who has over 20 years experience in profiling everything from serial murders to aberrant sex crimes.

Meanwhile, Casey requests that only her immediate family be allowed to visit her at the jail.
August 1, 2008– Investigators pay a visit to Casey Anthony's parents' home. Roughly five minutes after they arrive, they are seen leaving with two large paper bags.

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, tells Local6.com that he is angry with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, specifically Deputy Carlos Padilla, who reportedly told Nancy Grace that Baez had asked for immunity for Anthony.
"The police have just leaked one thing after another," Baez said. "I don't know. Carlos Padilla wasn't there."

August 2 – Shawn Wasson, host of "The News Junkie" on 1290 WJNO, interviews David Lohr about the case.

A spokesperson from the Orange County Sheriff's Office says investigators have found Caylee Anthony's DNA; however they refuse to confirm if it was discovered in the trunk of the car.
"When it is appropriate, we will do what is necessary to further this case. We will not discuss results individually regarding any item that is returned to us," Orange County Sheriff's Office Capt. Angelo Nieves tells reporters.

August 6 – Armed with a search warrant, a team of forensic investigators show up at the Anthony family home and remove several articles of clothing from Casey's closet. According to the search warrant, Casey's mother, Cindy Anthony, recently told investigators that she had found clothing inside the vehicle Casey had been driving before she made her first 911 call. Cindy "removed the pants and washed them due to the fact that they smelled like the car," the report said.

Bryan Crews, the attorney for the parents of Jesus Ortiz, a young man who some armchair detectives suspect is Caylee's father, holds a news conference and announces that the Ortiz family has never heard of Casey Anthony.
"This is the first they were ever told that Caylee might be a grandchild of theirs," Crews said. "They became interested in that, because that's all they would have left of their son, who died at age 20. This is a real surprise to them. I think another news station broke the story to them as a 'hello, big surprise' at their front door, and that was a very shocking event for them. Since that time, they've gotten unwanted media attention."
During an interview on Fox News, Casey's father, George Anthony, admits, despite previous denials, that his daughter had in fact stolen the gas cans from his shed. George said he found the cans in the trunk of the car Casey was driving when he went looking for a tire tool.
In addition to the gas can revelation, Cindy Anthony comes forward and tells investigators that she has been receiving death threats via phone calls, e-mails and letters. Investigators are currently looking into the incidents.

Meanwhile, an Orange County Sheriff's office dive team begins making plans to search lakes near Casey Anthony's home.

August 7 – Contrary to reports by the media, investigators say that the planned dive is unrelated to the Anthony case.
"Nothing has led us to believe [Caylee] would be in the water," Deputy Carlos Padilla said in an interview with the Orlandosentinel.com.

Mark Fuhrman speaks with Fox TV host Greta Van Susteren and tells her that he met with investigators from the Orange County Sheriff's Office and was told about a "flurry" of calls Casey had allegedly placed to her parents on June 16. However, when questioned about Fuhrman's claim, Capt. Angelo Nieves has no comment.
"We didn't discuss anything official with him," Nieves told Orlandosentinel.com.
While Nieves had little to say about the calls, sources close to the investigation have reveal that investigators have gone over every page of Casey's cell phone records and have not found a single call or text message to or from anyone named Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman Casey claimed was Caylee's babysitter.

August 8 – Casey refuses to see her brother when he arrives for a previously scheduled jail visit.
"I've just been informed by the visitation supervisor that when the visitation session started, Casey Anthony was not at the visitation unit over in her housing area. A correctional officer came on over the screen and told Mr. Anthony that Casey did not wish to have the visit occur, and then he left," Allen Moore, public information officer for the Orange County Corrections Department, told WFTV.com, adding, "She did not wish to have the visit. No reason was given for this. It's the inmate's right not to conduct a visitation if they choose to."

WFTV.com reports that investigators suspect Caylee may have drowned in the family swimming pool on June 16, the day Fuhrman said Casey had made a "flurry" of phone calls to her parents.

"A possibility being considered is Caylee could've gotten into the backyard pool on her own and was discovered too late," reads the article at WFTV.com.
The article also reveals that investigators are conducting further tests on Casey's car to determine whether there is evidence of decomposition.
Meanwhile, supporters and members of the community attend a vigil for Caylee Anthony.
"Your prayers and support means more than you can even imagine," George said, addressing the small crowd. "Thank you for giving me some strength."

    August 9 – Caylee Anthony's third birthday.

August 10 – Casey declines a scheduled visitation with her parents.
"Orange County Corrections does not inquire as to why an inmate decides to decline a visitation," Moore told Myfoxorlando.com, adding, "Cynthia and George Anthony were notified by phone that their daughter had declined today's scheduled visit."
Aug 11 - Casey denies visit with parents http://www.wesh.com/news/17154903/detail.html
Aug 12 - George Anthony claims he is being watched, although less than a week previously he claimed he had people watching someone’s home bc he believe Caylee was there. He changed his story to say he only said that bc he is the one being watched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnQlX8_TSIk

Aren't the Body Hunters associated with Brians Dreams?

Also late Wednesday afternoon, a cadaver dog alerted on an area in the search for Caylee Anthony just south of the Orlando International Airport. It's near the same place where search teams have been scouring the woods trying to find Caylee's body.

Orange County investigators were at the scene Wednesday evening to investigate the discovery made by the Body Hunters, an organization out of Ohio. That group said their own cadaver dogs hit on something, but it was unclear what that discovery may be or if it was connected to the Anthony case.

The day her and parents had the fight is the day she took Caylee away right? She probably did leave her in the car while she did errands, or partied, or went to work because she's a dumb f*ck. She most likely never knew how to take care of her child because her mother always did. When she came back to the car she probably freaked because of what she had done. She could have put her in the trunk so she could think up something fast and not get caught. And after all this time since she's been out of sight, she's been out of her mind because it seems she didn't spend much time with her child anyway. Just a theory of mine.

^^ Sounds very possible. The child porn/prostitution thing does too.

If she cared so little for this precious baby, she wouldn't have a problem offering her up to predators for drugs/money. Spoiled, selfish, evil bitch!!

Me too. What she did was wrong, but the poor soul didn't have a chance from the start.

Nobody ever gave a damn about her.

I'm confused about the hair thing.... isn't hair already *dead*?

Or do they test the tissue at the root?

There was some coroner being interviewed and he said that you can tell when hair is post mortem because there is a dark line at the root.

Ah, okay. It's just confusing because the cops keep leaking things like this and then saying they don't have definitive evidence that the girl is dead.

If Padilla is talking about, future revelatins will shock the world, then I have a feeling that he knows something everyone else doesn't, and isn't talking.
