A bit about her recent political opponent

Maybe all these angry gun-toting people will change their language.

Oh well, of course, if Alec Baldwin...JFC??!!?!??!?! By the by, spinning laughing faces seem a tad inappropriate in a thread about the murder of 6 people and the attempted murder of an additional 12 people. Too bad you appear insane.

not sure what to say to that except I think it is very obvious that my spinning faces are not directed at the tragedy. Why would you even think that?

(I'd edit it out but it is quoted. So my apologies)

I can't see how they didn't think that some nut job wouldn't do something like this. She's got crosshairs on people and he's saying to "get rid" of people. It's very creepy.

I'm not "punking you" I'm not sure what you guys are even arguing against. Sarah Palin has quite obviously been a powerful tool for the Tea Party groups. She's motivated quite a number of people and roused the "troops" in a way that hasn't been done for many many years. I admire that aspect of her. However it is unfortunate that she's stupid, as you say, and divisive. I'm not even sure why people are upset. I'm stating the obvious here. I pointed out Alec Baldwin because hes' been very anti Republican for a very long time and even he had nice things to say about her "charisma" what? I don't know. Anyway that's all I was pointing out.

I hate so much the death of that 9 year old girl. I can imagine her Mom taking her to see this congresswoman, hoping to give her ideas for her future.

    Posted: Jan 08, 2011 5:53 PM MST Saturday, January 8, 2011 7:53 PM EST Updated: Jan 08, 2011 5:56 PM MST Saturday, January 8, 2011 7:56 PM EST

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Tucson Police officers have evacuated the area surrounding Rep. Gabrielle Gifford's office after finding a suspicious device near the building, police said.
Officers assigned to provide security following Saturday's shooting of Giffords found the device shortly after 5 p.m., Tucson Police spokesman Lt. Fabian Pacheco said.
The offices are located in the 1600 Block of North Swan, near Pima.
A crowd of about 30 to 40 people, including media and those holding a vigil for the deadly attack, were moved across the street as a precaution, KOLD News reporter Barbara Grijalva said.
Tucson Police have called their bomb specialists to the area to investigate the device.\

I agree, I hope she doesn't get lost in the story. Knowing how many times I took my daughter to events that I wanted to affect her long term, it just breaks my heart.

A little more about the victims, including the 9 year old girl:

Federal Judge, 9-year-old Girl Among 6 Killed by Gunman in Tucson, Arizona

(CBS) The Arizona Republic has published a partial list of the 6 people killed in Saturday's rampage.

    Among the dead were:

U.S. District Judge John McCarthy Roll, who was appointed by President George H.W. Bush in 1991.

A 9-year-old girl, Christina Taylor Green. According to the Republic, a neighbor invited Christina to attend the Giffords event, since she had just been elected to the student council at her school.

Gabe Zimmerman, an aide to Rep. Giffords, was also killed. Zimmerman, 30, was engaged to be married, the Republic reports.

Along with Rep. Giffords, who is in critical condition from a bullet that passed through her brain, others of the 13 wounded included:

    Gifford's deputy director Ron Barber.

Another staffer, Pam Simon, was also hit.

Well, maybe you shouldn't have pointed it out in a thread where all of her "motivating" could have been the reason a Congresswoman is fighting for her life and six people including a 9 year old baby was killed and several others shot at a damn Safeway!! Safeway!

9-year-old victim of deadly rampage identified

TUCSON - The identity of the 9-year-old tragically killed in this morning's deadly rampage is Christina Taylor Greene.

Family says she was vibrant, excited about life, and she was the "best daughter in the world."

Born on September 11, 2001, Greene was excited about the political process, was on the student government, and went to the Giffords event today to learn more about the political process, family members say.

Greene attended Mesa Verde Elementary School. She was the only girl on the CDO baseball team - she loved the sport, as well as horseback riding and swimming.

Christ, look what day this child was born.
