Good. They should charge her for every damn dime they spent on resources to try to help her to find her "missing" daughter.

Yeah, jurors and lawyers are getting death threats, going into hiding etc.

I'm torn. While I hate the thought of jurors being harassed, I don't feel sorry for these folks who couldn't be bothered to examine a single piece of evidence.

How do you know that they didn't? Also people with similar names to jurors are being threatened.

It's already been reported they didn't ask for any, that and the fact they deliberated less than 12 hours for a six week trial.

That doesn't mean they didn't talk about it though. What if they all started off in agreement as to how they felt regarding guilt? How long should a jury normally hash out details?

Longer than they did. Casey spent more time planning the murder with all those google searches than they did setting her loose.

And, the few jurors who have spoken have indicated that there wasn't enough evidence and that the defense's opening remarks made more sense. With a six week trial, I would think that if they were thinking there wasn't enough evidence, they would have (should have) compared the actual evidence that was entered against the jury instructions. They may have all come into the room thinking, no the prosecution didn't have it, but unless they took the time to really look at what was presented against what the judge's instructions for each charge, they didn't do their job.

I still don't see how the defense's throw-shit-at-the-wall strategy made more sense than the prosecution's Casey-partied-for-31-days-and-never-told-anyone-Caylee-was-missing evidence.

it doesn't. but the prosecution couldn't prove their case and ultimately, what matters isn't the defence coming up with a plausible (or not) story, the onus is on the prosecution to make their case and prove guilt. and i don't think they did that. which doesn't mean they bought the defence's story either.

Righto. The defense's opening statement was not supposed to be used as evidence.

They said the jury's foreman was so disgusted wtih himself when he signed off ont he verdict and how mostly all of the jurors feel she was responsible.

Apparently they were 10-2 guilty, then 6-6 manslaughter.
