i'm not all that surprised. well, actually i am because florida usually loves putting people in jail and for once it's not a kid being tried as an adult but an actual guilty adult. at the same time, i didn't watch the trial but would read the stuff on this thread and i kept waiting for some more damning evidence from the prosecution but it just seemed like their entire case was pretty flimsy, from the dodgy air analysis of her car trunk to google searches and a history of lying... sure, it makes her look bad and casts suspicion but at the same time, you need more before potentially sending someone to prison for life or to death row.

i don't see it as the system failing though. on the contrary. the prosecution tried but didn't have enough evidence to build a solid case. and the defence got to make its case and introduce doubt in the jury. and that's what it's all about. sometimes even when in all likelihood the person is guilty, they'll walk because the state couldn't present a more solid case. it sucks, but that's the way it is. and i'd much rather that than people getting sentenced in the court of public opinion or based on people's hunches, even if they are right. if there's no way to prove that, that's all they are, hunches.

I completely agree with everything you posted. As disappointing as it is (I certainly think she's guilty), I think the system worked as it's supposed to in this case.

It's certainly made for an interesting day on Facebook today what with all the vehement arguing and some, uhhh, interesting memorial pics floating around.

Not only that, but this person is so enamoured with her own ability to manipulate others to get her way, she is probably quite optimistic about her future.

This is a chick who was lying to everyone she knew about everything in her life, stealing from family and friends, no source of income otherwise and had murdered her child and yet STILL managed to enjoy herself. She'll find a way to enjoy the attention she gets, as well as profit from it.

I'm sure this was a major win to her, the universe gave her feeble sociopathic mind a free pass today. I'm very interested in watching this fiasco play out.

She's going to hit the talk show circuit hard and be on any show that will have her. She won't be able to help herself - playing the victim is like crack to her and she'll want her fix. The money that she'll make (and spend on partying) will just be the icing on the cake.

This is something that really frustrates the shit out of me. This lower than whale shit loser is now going to make hundreds of thousands of dollars and be set for life by continuing her self-as-victim scenario and lying thru her teeth with "exclusive" interviews and media deals.

Sorry MontanaMama. I was having a WTF moment over the verdict and skimmed the last few pages in between wandering off to check on how the sausages for my sammich were doing. It wasn't intentional.

Well great minds and all, at least we can see this chick's future pretty clearly. Hell, we're still stuck with Amy Fisher.

That's pretty much what I was thinking too. That and we still have OJ being dangled in front of us with the whole "St Oprah will convince him to confess!" crap that was about not so long ago. My real concern is about who she'll harm in the future - she's just got away with the biggest, most complicated lie of her life and may well see it as a green light to remove anyone else that she sees as being an impediment to her lifestyle choices. Want to speculate on how long it'll be before she offs a boyfriend and then starts spinning a story about how it was self defence because he was abusing her?

I am PISSED. I can't even believe this shit! I thought the prosecution did a pretty good job with the evidence of the smell, showing that Cindy was at work that day of the searches, etc. There were some additional witnesses that I wish they had called (Casey's former childhood friend who used to bury pets with Casey and they'd put a little sticker or message on the covering of the animal, for instance.). But the defense was a fucking joke to me and the way they kept slinging all these accusations against all these other people to try to spread the blame seemed to me to completely transparent, and Cindy's obvious lies about the Google searches pissed me off.

I agree. Some of the pictures are actually cute. I don't know the timeline for all the pics that have been posted here, but the thought that while they were being taken her kid may have been chloroformed and tied up/restrained somewhere bothers me to my core, though. And of course the pics from the Hot Bodies contest came from after her child was dead.

Yeah, I get the same feeling. As someone else posted, there was something else going on with that jury. Not only were there members who had problems with the death penalty or there was that one who claimed she won't judge people, all throughout the trial the news kept mentioning how some of the jurors weren't taking notes or were taking very few notes.

There's no way they properly discussed all that they heard and saw in that trial to come to a not guilty verdict so quickly. It really pains me to think that Judge Perry fumbled the instructions so they may have thought the lesser charges were off the table, because I flove Judge Perry.

Anyone who hangs around with Casey now better be prepared to be robbed by her or to have wild accusations made about them sometime in the future. And her mother better be prepared to support Casey for the rest of her life, because I can't see Casey ever getting any sort of job, even in porn, because she was out of work and lying about it for so long.

I still think Casey has such a huge target on her that someone will manage to off her, though. Maybe not right away, but even Jeffrey Dahmer got it eventually. As ridiculous as Casey with her stealing and whatnot, I think she won't be a stranger to prison after she gets out, especially since she now has all eyes on her.
Get it together Us weekly. And that statement by “Kristen” um obviously wasn’t her. any fan, stan, stalker, kstew role player can tell right away that isn’t her. - a Twihard

I completely understand. The jury did make the right choice as much as it pains me to say it. There was not enough evidence. The prosecution did not have much to work with. I don't believe anyone on the panel thought she was innocent, but again not enough evidence. Pretty sure much all of it was washed away..or hidden with help from Cindy. I kept holding something would have been found during the trial..just something that could not be disapproved..and it never came. Casey isn't exactly a genius...so I am sure she had some help.
Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable.

Just got in and read the news. I am infuriated. You have to practically catch a murder on film nowadays for a person to be prosecuted. These cases where someone is killed and then their murderers commit suicide, I'm thinking maybe those are the BEST case scenarios because the judicial system doesn't work that's for damn sure.

This is the funniest comment I have found on-line so far!!!

whats scary is that you Americans are so ignorant of what is going on here. George and Cindy are HANDLERS for Casey, a Monarch ritual abuse slave. This means that Casey has been abused as a child until she developed MPD, By controlling which of Caseys parts comes out at any time, handlers can control a persons whole lfe!!! Masonic Lodges helped spread this brand of mind control System, but now many families take part, introduced through religious groups etc. They are basically satanists, often with christian “front” personalities. The MOnarch Butterfly is a trigger for this, as are many other things, such as black and white hypnotic patterns, checkerboard, refer to Vigilant Citizen or Esoteric Kitten for pop culture references demonstrating this control System in modelling and in the film and tv industries. Most “celebrities” are mpd slaves, and they exist to warp the audiences minds – its social conditioning for us all. the WHOLE anthony trial is a FAKE. Go find the old Faces of Meth advertisement – Casey and some other members of the court case are there, modelling the faces. Americans are being played to see how much they understand about this Monarch Mind Control System.. and you know fuck all. wake up America – Casey is a slave and her parents have the Key.
