I bet the jurors thought she killed Caylee but on the evidence provided they couldn't find her guilty. If that makes sense.
Well, hells bells!! I'm surprised, but I knew this was going to happen. I had almost zero doubt that they would find her not guilty.
Honestly, I don't think the prosecution presented their case very well, even if we all knew that Casey was at fault. Baez was able to put a lot of doubt in the minds of the jurors.
Looked like Judge Perry was surprised.
I haven't wished death on many people, and I think thats really a sick thing to do, but I wish something awful for her I really do and maybe that is death, but only if its painful
Mason basically said that we are all stupid for attempting to convict someone on a murder that we know nothing about. Justice was served. Then grandpa Simpson went on and on to say how the public is filled with a bunch of idiots.
Baez spoke Spanish and basically talked about the justice system, his daughter, blah blah blah. Baez said justice was served, and that the death penalty doesn't work. He also mentioned Caylee when someone reminded him.
Nancy Grace has remained calm. Calmer than she has ever been. I am kind of scared.
Dr.Drew said the prosecution didn't do enough. Basically said they did a poor job......
Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable.
No one will hurt her when she gets out on Thursday. She will unfortunately probably live a pretty normal life after this. She isn't a superstar like OJ was, so she can slip off to some small town or big city and change her name and just live her life. People always think someone will take care of her, but people don't really do that. Vigilante justice is more of a myth than anything. My nephew was killed by his stepmother when he was just 10 years old. Everyone said she would get it in jail...well, she did...she got it from prison guard after prison guard until she got pregnant and eventually married one of them. yeah, life be real hard for her. Casey is not that different. The justice system failed us on this one.
Judge Perry will give her the longest sentence he is allowed to by law.
This is a non worry. Casey will get on and ruin the rest of her life, one way or another. Hell bent on it, she can't stop.
