My guess is the jury will come in late Wednesday morning. They have a lot to talk about, so maybe Thursday morning instead.

I feel for them. Only Casey knows what actually happened and she's such a lying bitch she'll never tell the truth. I hope they prosecute her mom for perjury. She deserves it. I guess the fucked up fruit doesn't fall far from the lying tree.

I say Wednesday afternoon, just before time to go home.

I keep thinking about the juror with the vacation/cruise plans. These folks have been together for a long time, unless they are seriously split, I think they will come in so that juror can take his/her trip. Yes, that's a little callous, but I don't think they'll talk it to death at the expense of any more sacrifice on their part. Just my penny.

Hopefully that juror got traveler's/vacation insurance. I can't imagine a jury trying to rush such a massive decision just so someone can go on vacation. With that said, that juror is totally going to need a vacation after all this mess. They all are!

I watched the state's female attorney's closing argument. She did a really good job, IMO.

Casey has had bags under her eyes all the time. I guess she's not sleeping much.

I heard them say this morning that the juror's cruise starts July 7th. So there is no way they are going on the trip, unless the judge excuses them and brings in an alternate juror to take their place. It really sucks for that juror. Who would have thought that they would have been drug into this whole shitty mess over 6 months ago whne your planing a summer trip?

If they come back with a guilty verdict, they will end up stuck in the motel for at least another week for the penalty phase of the trial. These juror's sure have sacrificed a lot. They should get a free pass and never have to serve on a jury again, for the rest of their lives.

^^I forgot about the penalty phase. You're right.

I was trying to figure out last night how I would handle it if I was on a jury like this...simple things like would I board my dog for that long? paying bills, getting mail, coming back to a house that had been vacant for a month, etc. etc. As a single person who lives alone, it would really really suck. It would suck for anyone, but as a single person, my entire life would have to cease to exist - and what if my daughter still lived at home, who would take care of her?

Yeah, I used to worry about stuff like that if I was on a sequestered jury, but they will usually give you an out if you really CANNOT participate. Can you imagine getting basically pulled away from your entire life for weeks? Its just an impossibility for so many people, especially single parents. Not all of us have family, who are not working themselves, who could step up and take care of your kids for you.

Casey cried when the state prosecution played a presentation video about Caylee's murder during the wrap up.

Jose actually did the one up and inadvertently called Casey a 'slut' several times during his sum-up.

I know. My husband couldn't believe her own lawyer was calling her a slut and liar.
