she was probably directly or indirectly responsible for the kid's death, and then she either killed herself out of guilt, or the boyfriend (or his ex-wife) hired someone to kill her and make it look like suicide.

or she had nothing to do with the kid's death (he had apparently been told not to run and play up in the hall and was found with a scooter) but someone blamed her anyway because she was there

there's just too many maybes with this thing for them to close it like this

Shit, I don't think they even did a good job of making it look like suicide if someone did kill her. And that message is so creepy! It doesn't sound like the suicide note of someone who had a cut and dried reason to off themself, it almost sounds taunting. The whole situation is very sad and disturbing.

    1. Who gags their own mouth? "Maybe I'll scream? I better gag myself so that I don't call out and accidentally save myself."

    2. "She saved him can you save her?" What the heck is that supposed to mean? Who did she save? Did they verify the handwriting on this door with the handwriting in her diary?

Well that just made things a shit ton weirder!!!!

Shivers went down my spine when I read that message......

I wonder what exactly the boyfriend said to her in the VM...Or how he said it.

So nothing in her system. Ok. It did say she had bruises...Could it have been from her body going all crazy after the hanging?
(I'm not sure how hangings work....If she was thrown off the balcony or jumped, could the force of it snap her neck so quickly her body went limp right away, or would she still be slightly alive to flail all around to cause the bruises?)

But this is still to fucked up of a case to so quickly close it and call it a Suicide.

no. Bruises were on the top of her head. There was nothing to hit on while dangling in mid air.

See, now I'm getting all tin foil hat up in here....

What if the message was about the kids?

"She saved him can you save her?"

She saw crazy horrible shit happening to her BF's kids and so the "accident" happened to the little boy, she figured she was "saving" him from whatever was going on around him by killing him, but the daughter was still being subjected to bad shit? So she wants someone to save her?

I know I'm reaching, but WTF man?? this is strange....

The autopsy notes also described four injuries under Zahau's scalp, tape residue and bruising on her legs and part of a shirt stuffed in her mouth as a gag, CBS 8 reported.
The last article said her legs too..

"She saved him can you save her?"

I'm starting to think this is a reference to Jonah (the dad) instead of Max (the son). From what I've read earlier, Jonah had a very happy relationship with Zahau, coming on the heels of a bitter divorce. She was like a completely different person for him. So, maybe she had sort of "saved him"? Then, she may have felt incredible guilt about what happened to Max, and maybe didn't get enough reassurance from Jonah, and left that note. The problem is that the circumstances of her death look too suspicious.

I'm quickly coming to the conclusion in our society that it is now more than ever, very easy to kill someone and get away with it. You pretty much have to have a videotape of the murder to be convicted. When exactly did this happen? Why are we more interested in saving the guilty than protecting the victims?
