Ok, NO CRIME WAS COMMITTED? The 'perpetrator' is 17 months old. Give me a fucking break.OMAHA, Neb. -- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said Monday that an infant was injured by a toddler at a home day care Monday morning.
The baby had to be rushed to a hospital by medical helicopter. The Douglas County sheriff said the infant is in stable condition.
The incident happened near 184th Street and Van Camp Drive. Sheriff's Sgt. Matt Martin said the day-care provider had stepped out of the room where the children were playing.
"She come back down, and that's when she noticed the 17-month-old straddling the 6-month-old child," Martin said. "She removed the 6-month-old (and) called the father. They decided to call 911. The fire department decided to call Lifeflight."
The child was airlifted to Creighton University Medical Center. The hospital cannot release the exact nature of the baby's injuries. The sheriff said further medical tests are being conducted.
Martin said that, at this point, there is no indication that a crime was committed.
