This poor kid is going to have to live with this. A 6 year old who's been neglected with no clear parenting, left inside a hot car with a screaming baby and no concept of the impact of what he's doing is going to regret this when he's older. Although, it's far from his fault and this woman failed them all. I hope she's locked up for a long time, or at least have her tubes tied and the kids taken away. The doctor who kept impregnating her needs to be investigated. Infuriating!

Am I the only one thinking the mom did it and blamed the 6 year old. I'm so cynical, or maybe I'm not so cynical that I want to believe a 6yo harbouring such anger.

This is a Lifetime movie, I can't face facts that this could really happen.
How is a 3 day old at a casino? What did that 6 year old endure? Or the 3 year old?
I wonder if she kept having kids for attention-- the local 60 year old mom whose husband passed away, I think in her head she saw herself as a victim. blech She was probably hoping TLC would pick up a show.

I wonder if she was even inseminated in the US. When i worked in perinatology we had a few patients who honestly for safety reasons should have never become pregnant do so in other countries.

That's very possible. Will be interesting to watch how this case goes. I just hope at the very least she gets a hefty sentence and those boys get a chance at a decent life without her, and lots of therapy for the older boy. Useless mother. The theory that she's guilty of it herself but blaming the boy is also plausible. Either way, this is solely her fault.

It also sounds like this bitch was fixated on the idea of having children rather than the reality and wasn't interested in them once they were actually born and in need of care.
I don't know, a somewhat normal 6 year old would try to soothe a sibling, not beat them to a pulp. The fact that he did this and was completely unaware it was wrong sounds like a psychopath. could be he was born with the genetic predisposition and the awful situation he was in caused it to materialize. /armchair psychiatrist If he can be helped, at least that will happen now that they've been liberated from their nutcase mother.

We'll never know if the boy has sociopathic tendencies. But grown people lose their temper with screaming babies. Stuck in a hot car, stressed, maybe scared, angry at his mom for leaving him, and six years old? Not sure he has to have a pathological reason to snap.

CFG has pretty much answered that for me. Plus by accounts from people that knew the family this wasn't a normal six year old, this was a kid who was semi-feral from a lack of decent, interested parenting. A normal six year old is given discipline and guidance, is taught to be kind and gentle to other kids, especially those smaller than he is. This poor little sod wasn't given anything like that in his upbringing so far.

a 13 day old baby that you don't notice is dead for hours??? no need to feed the poor baby or check her diaper let alone take one look at her!? this is one of the most disturbing, disgusting stories i've ever read.

These kids are nothing but accessories to her. Mere possessions that she wanted to have without making the effort to care for them. It wouldn't surprise me if at least some of her motivation was to get back on to the reality tv circuit, like some kind of OAP Kate Gosslin.

pretty much what I was thinking ~ she liked the attention. I didn't think about the TV show possibility, but I bet you're right.

I have a boy who's almost 6, a girl who's 3 and an 8 week old. For a start I wouldn't ever leave any of them in the car, let alone for over 30 fucking minutes! Secondly I know my kids pretty well and neither would ever hurt the baby, I don't think that is at all normal behaviour for a kid at all. Our baby has times where she's overtired and screams for ages and my son tries his best to help me with her, not beat her up.

Was as this baby even in a car seat or did the mum just drive around with her rolling about the seats? Neither of my kids would have the finger strength to unbuckle baby's harness.
