Glitter Faces New Sex Probe
Vietnamese police want to talk to disgraced pop star Gary Glitter about reports of him taking young girls to his rented villa.Neighbours in the southern resort of Vung Tau told a national newspaper they had seen him with several girls aged 15 or under. The paper said that residents had also complained about his singing.
A Foreign Ministry spokesman said police wanted to question the 61-year-old singer about the claims.
"If we have evidence of child sexual violation, very strict legal measures would be applied," he said, adding that Glitter had since disappeared.
Glitter, real name Paul Francis Gadd, was sentenced to four months in jail in Britain in 1999 after being found guilty of storing child pornography on his computer.
After his release, he left Britain for Cuba. He then turned up in Cambodia, although he eventually had to leave after pressure from child rights activists.
He has reportedly been in Vietnam for around a year.
Glitter has been quoted as saying: "I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm not hurting anyone. "I'm living a quiet life here.
"If people find out I'm here I'll move on to another country. I'll just keep moving until no one can find me."
This sick fuck needs a bullet.
