At least one person has reportedly died and five have been injured at a shooting at a zombie festival in Florida.
The Fort Myers Police Department said the shooting occurred around 11.45pm Saturday night local time in downtown Fort Myers, reports News Press.
A large police presence remains at the scene and attendees have been told the event has been shut down.
A suspect is reportedly on the run.

Video footage shows dozens of people running and screaming, as well as what appears to be festival attendees clashing with police.
One witness said she heard at least three muffled gun shots.
"Then everyone started running," Sam Kirby told Naples News.
The shooting occurred as the festival was concluding for the night.

ZombiCon describes itself as a "massive zombie-themed charity street festival" on the event's official website.
The festival posted a message on their official Facebook page and said they were "deeply saddened" by the incident.
"The organizers of ZombiCon, Pushing DaiZies, Inc. are deeply saddened by the news of what happened within the footprint of our event," the message read.
"We take the safety of our patrons very seriously and take precautions in hiring security and police officers for our annual event. Our prayers go out to the family members and individuals involved in the incident."
