Exclamation Woman stabs co-worker over use of Microwave oven

TAMARAC, Fla. - Things got very ugly at a Walgreens when police said one employee stabbed a co-worker over who could microwave her soup first.

Both women wanted to use the microwave in the employee break room Wednesday afternoon, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

While they were fighting over who could use the microwave first, Mellesia Grant grabbed a large kitchen knife off the counter and stabbed Merloze Tilme in the abdomen, the sheriff's office said.

"They didn't get along to begin with. Who could use the microwave first became a major issue," Broward County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Leljedal said.

The two women then wrestled for the knife, each cutting their hands, before the store manager could stop the fight, Leljedal said.

Tilme, 20, was hospitalized in good condition, officials said.

Grant, 23, of North Lauderdale, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after being treated at a hospital for her wounds, officials said.

"Stay away from the microwave, be-yotch, or I will CUT you!" *snap* *snap*

If this perp were more interesting, she would've at least stabbed her co-worker in the back, not the stomach. How banal.

Things can get pretty heated over a microwave you know, we have one in our office and on a Friday we only have a half hour break, you can see the tension at 12.29, every one staring hypnotically at the clock on their computer waiting for 12.30, bums slightly raised off their seats, then the clock changes to 12.30 and whoosh, it's a mad dash!

Yeah it's unfortunate isn't it, on a Friday we get to finish at 3pm instead of 5.30pm so we have a shorter lunch break from 12.30-1pm. We also get to wear our own clothes, oh the excitement!! Bet you are so jealous!

You know they treat us soooo well, its a sales office but me and my co workers are more in production so apparently we are not the same species as the salesmen. At Xmas when all the sales men walked out with their bonus dvd players, coffee makers mp3 players etc etc, we all got a bottle of wine each!! The same cheap plonk that the cleaners got
