Additionally my browser hangs for a while followed by a stop plug in message. I started going to the Task Manager and ending the plug in process and that worked for awhile but it looks like Firefox developed an "immunity" to that trick.

Also getting system hangs followed by stop script message. I know that there is a script blocker add on for that, and I even used it before a few years ago, but I have to look into it more before I add it on because IIRC it helped with performance but took away too many functions.

I always get "script" issues with Firefox. The past couple of days it has been ridiculously slow. But I'm staying with it; Um skeert of Internet Explorer now that Windows support is no more.

Totally. I quit Firefox years ago and have not looked back. Chrome is the best.

the only thing i don't like about chrome is that i cannot just cut and paste a pic. so i have to load it to Photobucket, get the code and paste it here.

Since I got Windows 8, that's not a problem anymore.

Chrome always gives me BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), and I have to reboot.
