Thread: Getting rid of Facebook / Twitter pop-up on other sites?

    Have you tried using the NoScript addon for Firefox? I use it, and I don't see that unless I allow the scripts for it.

    NoScript lets you decide which sites to trust for Javascript/Java/Flash. You can get it at and their website is NoScript - JavaScript/Java/Flash blocker for a safer Firefox experience! - what is it? - InformAction.

    OK, here's a new one. When I look at cnn, I get a little feed on the side that shows "what some of your friends are saying". I'm not logged in on CNN and I'm not sure how this is happening. This is just crazy.

    I had to customize the shit outta my FB page to completely get rid of all the crap. If it weren't for wanting to keep up with friends back home since moving I'd shitcan it altogether.

    I've also now got way too many family members on my list somehow, which is.... unfun.
