I forgot about Shazam. I use that one a ton.

Mo, I've used it in a store once and was able to get the song. It's rare that it's quiet enough to be able to do that.

This probably sounds crazy, but do you think you could sing what you remember from a song into it, and it would identify the song?

Yes, Mr Number works. I block out 800 numbers where my phone says they're spam anyway.

Handrite Lite is nice. You can write with a stylus or your fingertip.

No, it won't do that. It won't recognize a live version of most songs either.

no. and it doesn't know classical music either. i've tried. but it's still pretty awesome. i've had it work in stores a lot, as long as there aren't too many people talking. it just needs a few seconds.

iPeriod. Track your period. Handy lady app. And it's free. There's a paid version but I don't see the point.

no, it won't. many drunken hours spent on that one

I love Google Sky Map, Messenger for Facebook, IMDb because I won't remember any actor or movie I want to talk about, then I have a flashlight app that turns my camera light on for an instant flash light - very handy - Shazam of course, Spotify, tripadvisor, Buzzfeed, Pics Art for photo editing, Foto-Gitter, Sleep Talk Recorder is fun, too, google goggles to read QR codes or other codes, also identifies paintings and buildings, Blogilates, Runkeeper and Endomondo for sports, Evernote for notes and Evernote foods for recipes. Duolingo is great for a fresh up in any language. Booking.com is great, too as I use it very often when travelling. And the best app for travelling for me is World Mate, where you can send all your confirmations (flights, cars, hotels) and it will safe it and organize it. Very handy because you can use it when offline.
