How long does it take for the iPod mini to charge off the computer?

How long does it take for an iPod mini to charge off the puter? Mine takes HOURS and even then I don't think it's fully charged because it seems to run out of juice after about an hour. I get the Do Not Disconnect thing and the little battery logo in the top RH corner of the screen looks like it's charging, but surely it should not take this long??

Ok, my Nano only takes about an hour to charge and then lasts for hours. I'd make a trip back to the store it came from.

My iPod take about an hour to charge and it also last for several hours. you should call apple if youre having problems with it.
ETA: have you ever disconnected it while it had the "do not disconnect" sign on it???

do you click the eject sign before you disconnect??

Yes, but I still get the Do Not Disconnect thing. Question #2987 what is the 'safe' way to disconnect an iPod from your puter? The instructions are crap.
