Default CUIL - New search engine set to rival Google

I don't know much about this but CUIL (www.cuil.com)is a new search engine developed by a breakaway group of Google engineers that claims to have a much bigger and better database than Google and which (so far) doesn't keep logs of your searches and other personal info. I've had a quick look and it seems pretty user friendly but haven't had time to compare. What do you think?

I tried to check it out, but when I follow the link it says Internet Explorer can not display the web page.

I read that it's pronounced "Cool". When I read it I wanted to pronounce it like Kweel (like a french c and u together).

I can't see someone saying "cuil it" like google it. I brings up a ton of websites, some repeats, has no images, news, videos etc.

I tried it. Maybe it will improve, but so far the results can be laughable when they aren't downright shitty.
