    Default Firefox vs Internet Explorer

After testing the most recent downloads of both I can tell you with great confidence that the Firefox is by far faster, less buggy and has not crashed as of yet (IE - crashed multiple times daily).

I also use google toolbar for my bookmarks which both browsers can use.

So if you're using IE7 and it's slow and crashes often - try Firefox out.

I've been using Firefox for a couple of years now and love it. As you said, I have very few problems with it and if you are used to IE, you can set it up to look the same for comfort factor. I still use IE for some things: MS Web Outlook to access work email since Firefox does not give you options that I need for Outlook...and to access games on MS that blocks Firefox

I do like Firefox, have been using it for the past couple three years... but IE is still the browser of choice for many websites when you want to join, or make a purchase.

And I really, really like "Flock" because it's even less buggy than Firefox, faster loading and you can drag photos and other stuff from one place to another. My version is connected to the Photobucket Edition. Flock Start Page

Ever since I first tried Firefox, I never looked back-so much better than IE, it's not even funny.

I'm in love with the various plugins/extensions too. They're like crack!

I liked 'em too (the addons) until they started not being "compatible" or something.

I still do love Firefox and use it everyday, but for GR I use Flock.

Yeah, the not compatible thing grates, but I just check their site for updates on a regular basis and replace the old addons.

Hmmmm, maybe if I do that, it'll stop being so buggy with the new add-ons?

i wanted to use firefox and i have it installed but for some reason it comes out tiny. i have my screen configured so it's great with IE and everything else, but with that same configuration, everything in firefox is tiny. and maybe i'm dumb but i can't change the settings on firefox. i also tried adjusting the screen configuration, and while it made everything huge on IE and the desktop, everything in the firefox window remained tiny. i have no idea what i'm doing wrong. i also tried re-installing and it didn't solve the problem.

Do you mean just text, or pictures and everything else too?

pictures. text size i can change but the firefox window looks as if i'd configured the screen so most webpages fit on half the screen.

Sputnik, do you mean that you can't use the CTRL + feature? You know, where you hold down the CTRL key and hit + as many times as you want to make the text bigger? That's what I do. They even have that in IE now but Firefox's works better.

i can do that, and it actually works, although it is annoying having to do that every single time i open firefox because the initial size of it is too small (not the case on IE). but i can't do that with any page that uses flash, no matter how many times i increase text size, that stays tiny. and i mean really tiny.
