I hate the useless picture or animation as a response. I actually have people on ignore because its all they ever contribute. I've never said tl;dr- I just don't read and respond if its too much.

I admit it. I've done this a couple of times. Sometimes, a picture is really worth a thousand words.

I have been guilty of using "wow....just WOW." Sometimes, I am so flabbergasted/in utter disbelief about what another poster said, there are just no words. Yet I still want to put my 2 cents in. So WOW.

I ran into a new one recently that doesn't really seem to make sense, but serves a purpose. In a couple of forums I visit, I kept seeing the word "GOAT". It prefaces the post and means that the poster actually read through the entire thread (you know, the threads that are heated and enormous) before they posted themselves. Rather than just jumping in with a comment that 1). Has already been beaten to death or 2). Is no longer relevant at that point in the enormous thread. Haven't used it yet, but it seems handy.

What? I love that! I admire posters who come up with all kinds of funny pix as responses. I always wonder, do they have some kind of library in order to find the right stuff at the right time? That's an artform!
Hello mother fucker! when you ask a question read also the answer instead of asking another question on an answer who already contain the answer of your next question!

Woot originated as a hacker term for root (or administrative) access to a computer. However, with the term as coincides with the gamer term, "w00t". "w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.
"I defeated the dark sorcerer! Woot!"

"woot! i r teh flagmastar!" (Think Tribes)

"Woot, I pwnzed this dude's boxen!'
    Urban Dictionary: woot

I know people who say woot in real life. They were the ones that were addicted to WoW in high school and college.
