Default The Sims

Not sure where to put this topic so I figured Random was ok.
I love this game and have been so addicted to it. Anyone else have/had the same problem?

Oh god I loved it, I played it every night for about 3 months but I couldn't get anywhere with it so I gave up! What are you supposed to do anyway??

All I seemed to do was poop, bathe, cook, watch TV and argue with my Mum!!

I used to be addicted to The Sims. So much fun.
Hmm I had The Sims House Party, Pets Unleashed (this was my fave !), Hot Date and The Sims 2. But now my addiction has been replaced by this board.

I was totally hooked on The Sims 2 a while ago, but then it got boring. Now I'm playing World of Warcraft while I wait for "The Movies"

I have all the games except for Living Large. But I love the Makin Magic and having my "person" learn magic. Its hard to have more than two people to take care of at the same time. I mean like a couple having children. My kids would end up either going to military school or be taken away. I like to start out small where my nephew always starts out with a huge house and then runs out of money but does the "cheat" to get more money.
I want to get Sims 2 for Christmas or at least my birthday. I actually saw a commercial for it the other day and it looks like it would be much better than The Sims.

I got Sims 2 when it first came out and then I downloaded some new kitchen items and now my whole games crashes. I haven't had time to fix it or play it, so I spend most of my free time on here.

You run a movie empire and make movies, get actors (the can get ps!) etc. I've looked forward to it for about 3 years, so I can't wait till I can play it.

they're making an even newer one (i talked to a guy who runs like this huge sims forum...he helped me out with this one) where you design a civilization from the beginning of time. and eventually you can spread out to the universe, planets are randomly generated, so are the creatures etc. it's a sim universe, you can do ANYTHING.

Luvvvved The Sims. I have the first one Living Large, Unleashed with their pets and Vacation. About 6 months ago, I got desparate and bought The Sims 2, $50 that comes with 4 cds. Waaaay better than the rest and I even bought it for my playstation.
You guys would be suprised how people can make designer clothes for sims.

My husband likes to play SimCity and last night he made a comment since there were elections going on in Houston he said "its just like SimCity". I had to laugh it sounded so silly but yet it was so true.
