Default Help with sending docs via email

If you send documents via email frequently, can you help please?

I'm having trouble with sending the correct file extentions. I want to save it as a .doc. I successfully converted one document - yet the recipient couldn't read it and asked me to resend.

Seems that when I make any changes to my original document, it says it will save as Works 7.0 - then I change it to .doc and it reverts right back to .wps.

I've tried everything I know but it still doesn't work.

Thanks.

Its how MS makes you pay for upgrades, however the recepient should still be able to read a .wps in word. So just send it as is.

There are some third party software converters to do it.

It amazes me how all these Microsoft documents are not compatible with the various Microsoft software. Like EM said, it's all about $$$

You must be joking. Thank you for telling me this. How appauling. I scanned the darn thing and sent it as a pdf. If they don't have Adobe, they can download it. In this day you should be able to click and send without having to worry who has what and if it will work. No way to do business.
