Installing Mac Tiger

I've bought it. Has anybody ever installed it? Tips and tricks are gratefully accepted.

If you can pop for 30 american dollars, the Mac OS X Bible Tiger Edition by Samuel A. Litt. helped me very much after I went from Windows (never going back again) to the Mac Tiger.
You can even keep every thing that you want to keep, if you read the documentation carefully.

Thanks for the tip. It's true...once you go Mac, you never go back. A friend of mine finally bought a Mac and she's been raving about it ever since.

I love Macs. They're so easy to use, I was a Mac owner for 5 years, I changed to PC now but I think I want to get a MacBook. I miss my little dock at the bottom of my screen, it's so handy.

They also don't catch those pesky viruses as much as the PC's do. But I still love my PC, it's in the living room with some games on it, and a shitload bunch of files, just no Internet connection. I was spending hours each week troubleshooting the PC, the Mac is much better in that respect.

I've been using Macs exclusively since 1992. If you have any questions, let me know, and I'll be glad to help. (It's been several days since you initially posted, so I'll bet you're already good to go, but just in case .....)
